Fall conference season is just around the corner, and one of the events I am very excited about it the Canadian Resort Investment Conference Oct 14-15. http://www.resortinvest.ca/program.html
Two reasons: First, Canada is booming, especially Western Canada (I just read that the US imported more oil from the oil sands of Western Canada than from Saudi Arabia in 2007!).
Second, I have been invited to speak and participate in the conference. 
As a Michigander, we drive ’south’ to Canada often to enjoy the nature, culture and great Italian and Dim-Sum Chinese foods in Windsor, Ontario. The natural beauty Canada has to offer tourism is relatively untouched. Boomers will head north just as likely as they headed south in previous generations - spring and summer in Canada, winter in Mexico, fall drifting somewhere else?
