From an email I received (aka: not a reliable source) but I found this interesting and you may too:
Proving we think the grass is always greener on the other side, half of us want to live somewhere other than where we live now. And the top choice for those who just want to get the heck out of Dodge is…Denver.
That’s the word from a survey of 2,260 adults conducted by the Pew Research Center. Why Denver? It has low humidity, eight professional sports teams and proximity to the Rocky Mountains. Fully 43 percent of those surveyed cited Denver as the place they would most like to live, followed by San Diego and Seattle.
The least favorite cities were Detroit, Cleveland and Cincinnati.
Most popular cities where people want to live:
Denver (43 percent)
San Diego (40 percent)
Seattle (38 percent)
Orlando (34 percent)
San Francisco (34 percent)
Tampa (34 percent)
Least popular cities where people want to live:
Detroit (8 percent)
Cleveland (10 percent)
Cincinnati (13 percent)
Kansas City (15 percent)
Minneapolis (16 percent)
Pittsburgh (17 percent)
